Well, there's this man...
...who finds (literally) this woman. Both of them are broken, the woman physically, the man emotionally (Although he doesn't really know it). But God has a plan! There's this really bad, bad guy. But God has a plan! All manner of mayhem ensues. BUT GOD HAS A PLAN!
When people ask me what my book's about it's hard to answer. The genre of this first book is Christian Romantic Suspense. The genre of the series is the same, except I would add Family Saga to the list of descriptors. But Boundary Waters Search and Rescue: Beyond Belief is so much more than a genre classification. It's a tale of love, passion, perseverance, loyalty, and trust. It's also a tale of what marriage can be at it's best (never easy, but so worthwhile). Overarchingly, it's a tale of God's faithfulness in good times, in difficult times---all of the time.

If you want to learn a bit more about the main characters in this series, I would suggest reading the blog prequels (just look for them in the blog index). These will introduce you to the four main characters in the first three books of the Boundary Waters Search and Rescue series.

The title of this series is important, because this book is also about celebrating a lovely, pristine, and sometimes dangerous part of God's creation----the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. (As well as two towns closely tied to the BWCA---Ely, Minnesota, and Grand Marais, Minnesota) I love these places, they form a part of my spirit. They, too, show me God.
