So, Today This Happened...

The contract is signed on my end, now I wait to get the executed contract back from my publisher. This process is feeling more and more real all the time. Boundary Waters Search and Rescue-Beyond Belief came in at 81, 938 words. That translates into roughly 300+ pages depending on the font size. That length also depends on how much of the story is edited out. Yes, I now go through a third round of professional editing. One thing I can say, is that this manuscript, as submitted, is as good as I can make it. Still, I'm new at this and I know that the next round of edits will make it better.
Tomorrow, if all goes well, I plan to celebrate by sharing my first excerpt from Beyond Belief. It's time for y'all to meet Jack Lockwood.
