Something to Look Forward To...

And by big I mean Lake Superior-Great Lakes big. Do you find peace in nature? Then Beyond Belief, Book 1 in the Boundary Waters Search and Rescue Saga might be for you.

I am from Duluth, MN, a beautiful town at the head of Lake Superior. 'Write what you know' is the oft repeated mantra for writers everywhere. So where better to set my first novel (at least my first novel published) than in northern Minnesota? The north shore of Lake Superior, the lake country, the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness---these are places where I can take a deep breath and see, feel, hear, and touch God's presence best. And, because my own romance began in this beautiful place it is, in my mind, a fine place to introduce my characters, beginning with Jack Lockwood.

When Jack, widower, physician and co-founder of the Boundary Waters Search and Rescue Unit, finds a woman dying in his front yard, he never imagines the impact this particular rescue would have on his life. And that is the place where his story, their story starts.

While I am early in the publication process for Beyond Belief, I already have 90% of the second book in the saga written, tentatively titled Beyond Imagination.
